The largest city (by population) in India has a wild and extravagant nightlife, but authorities are cracking down on Mumbai’s nightlife over concerns that the partying has gotten out of hand.

You might know that Mumbai is home to India’s mighty Bollywood film industry.
But did you also know that India’s richest and largest city has one of the highest drinking ages in the world for alcoholic spirits, at 25 years old?
This hasn’t stopped Mumbai, previously known as Bombay, from becoming a party central with lots of glitzy nightclubs and trendy bars.
Like bothered neighbors, the authorities in Mumbai are getting frustrated with the wild nightlife.
