In the age of digital cameras, it's not all that common to see photographers use laborious techniques to capture photos. Especially not in war zones. But photographer Ed Drew, a staff Sergeant in the California Air National Guard, has taken up the challenge. He used a civil-war-era technique to create portraits of his fellow comrades in Afghanistan.
