Egypt’s President Mubarak refused to step down Thurday night following weeks of protests in the country. President Mubarak’s speech, in which he said that he was staying on as president, but transferring some power to Vice President Omar Suleiman was met with rage in Tahrir Square, with chants of “Leave, Leave!”
