2008 is the Year of the Frog and in order to celebrate and raise awareness about declining amphibian populations the Association of Zoos and Aquariums is holding a nation-wide celebration on Leap Day, February 29th.
What better way to celebrate leap year than by highlighting the plight of our amphibian friends? A third of the world’s frog populations face extinction.
