One of our favorite global hits last year featured a compilation called “The Inspiring New Sounds of Rio de Janeiro.”

Now one of the groups on that compilation is about to release its first North American CD.

The group is called “A Filial.”

Reporter Anil Mundra visited some of the band members at home in Rio.
