Geo answer/global hit
For today’s Geo Quiz, we were looking for an area in the west of Ireland marked by the Twelve Bens. The answer is Connemara, home of our featured Global Hit artist, singer Bridgit Fitzgerald.
It’s a region with panoramic views of the Atlantic to the west, and a rugged landscape marked by the Twelve Bens to the north.
The answer to today’s Geo Quiz also has a musical twist.
It comes courtesy of Irish Gaelic singer Bridget Fitzgerald. Bridget Fitzgerald singing a tune called “Elinore My Love,” a song that hails from her home in Connemara, Ireland.
