Some say it’s also one of the most beautiful in the world. It’s flanked by three volcanoes to the south.
And the lake itself fills the opening of a massive ancient volcano.
So — quick — what’s the name of this Guatemalan beauty?
Central America’s deepest lake is Lake Atitlan. The towns and villages around the lake are experiencing much development – not all of it welcome.
