Steve Scott reports from Sacramento on California’s new environmentalist Green party. The party has recently signed up more than 80,000 voters to qualify for automatic ballot access in local and state elections. Party leaders admit they may not elect many of their own right away, but they do expect to pressure Democratic and Republican candidates to take more pro-environment stands.
