A benefit concert held recently in Los Angeles helped raise money for students in Japan whose instruments were lost or destroyed in the earthquake and tsunami in March.
All proceeds went to a program founded in Japan called School Music Revival.
The concert was initiated by Eric Gorfain, a violinist with the ensemble The Section Quartet. He spoke to anchor Marco Werman.
