The skeletal remains of more than 140 people have been unearthed at the site of a mass grave in northern Sri Lanka. They are thought to belong to the island’s minority ethnic Tamil community killed during Sri Lanka’s civil war, which stretched from 1983 until 2009, and killed more than 70,000 people.
