Young people in Togo — led by musicians, artists and bloggers — are protesting against a recent government move to consolidate power for the country’s leader, Faure Gnassingbé. He had been president since 2005, but a constitutional change — without a public referendum — has changed his position to prime minister, which does not have term limits. The World’s Host Marco Werman spoke with Togolese activist Farida Nabourema about the protests and how this differs from past opposition moves.
