Flooding in Nigeria kills hundreds of people, displaces thousands, at start of rainy season

Torrential rains hit the town of Mokwa in Niger State, Nigeria, last week. More than 200 people have died, hundreds more are missing and an estimated 3,000 people have been displaced. Judith Leveillee heads UNICEF Nigeria’s field operations and emergency response. She spoke with host Carolyn Beeler from Abuja.
