A project in South Africa aims to reduce demand for rhinoceros horns by making them radioactive. Last summer, Host Marco Werman spoke with Professor James Larkin at the University of the Witwatersrand, who is inserting small quantities of radioisotopes into the horns of live rhinos, allowing for their detection and reducing their value as a commodity.
