The World InternThe World
I began my reporting career at the University of Maine at Farmington. I majored in Creative Writing but had a strong desire for journalism, and wholeheartedly made the decision to combine the two. During my time in college I reported for the Farmington Flyer, Mount Blue TV and the Mount Desert Islander.I received my Bachelor's degree in 2012 and moved to Portland, Maine where I interned  at the Maine Public Broadcasting Network for "Maine Calling," an interactive radio talk show. In the fall of 2013 I was accepted to Emerson College for my Masters  degree  in Broadcast Journalism. I have continued to work for a number of news organizations at Emerson College, including WERS 88.9FM and WEBN-TV.When I'm not chasing a story I blog for Mytimetovote, a nonpartisan website that provides access to all of the latest States and Federal election information. Also, I like to spend what little free time I have at the gym or on my yoga mat.
