Justin McCurry

Justin McCurry is GlobalPost correspondent for Japan in Tokyo. He also reports for the Guardian and Observer newspapers in London. He contributes to the Lancet medical journal and several other publications in Japan and the UK, and reports from Japan for radio stations in France, the UK, Ireland and New Zealand. Justin graduated from the London School of Economics and later gained an master's degree in Japanese studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London University. He spent several years working as a copy editor and reporter for the Daily Yomiuri in Osaka before joining the Guardian full time in 2003.
