Anna Bensted

Anna Bensted worked for BBC radio in the UK, hosting a current affairs program and starting up an arts program in Edinburgh. She then produced documentaries for the BBC from across America and was so inspired by the experience that in the mid-90s she moved to the US. She set up the award-winning Inside Out documentary unit at WBUR in Boston. In 2010, Anna left for Italy, where she helped manage Villa I Tatti, the Harvard Center for Renaissance Studies. She currently splits her time between Florence, Italy and Cambridge, Massachusetts, making radio wherever she can.Recent radio features:African migrants in Italy swap stories with American exchange students
