The World from PRX

Global Nation Reporting Fund

In 2016, over 200 members of the Global Nation community created a $16,000 fund to bring 50 new voices to PRI.

This fund has been a catalyst to bring more stories from more voices into Global Nation, award-winning coverage of immigration and diversity in the US from PRI and PRI’s The World.

And it’s working!

Since we launched in May 2016, we have featured brought over 50 new, diverse writers and reporters into public media. Among them are:

Your support has brought forward personal stories, in-depth reporting and unique perspectives. And we want to keep it going!

Please help us replenish the fund so we can continue to raise the profile of writers and reporters whose stories and voices need to be seen and heard more on public media.

For every $300 we raise, PRI can showcase one story from a new contributor.

Here’s how to make a tax-deductible donation.

And scroll through all the stories that you helped tell.
