30,000 California prisoners to go free after Supreme Court decision
California’s prisons are so over crowded that they violate the Constitution, according to yesterday’s Supreme Court decision.

The Supreme Court ordered that California’s prisons were violating the Constitutional ban on cruel and unusual punishment because of the severe overcrowding. They ordered that some 30,000 prisoners must be released.
