Christopher Hill was US ambassador to Iraq from 2009 to 2010, a special envoy in Kosovo in 1998-1999, and a member of the negotiating team in the Bosnia peace settlement. He tells anchor Aaron Schachter that while things were learned from the US intervention in the Balkans, the situation in Syria is quite different.
