Faith talks to Trisha Ziff, a curator of contemporary photography, about “Chevolution,” her new documentary on the origins of the iconic Che Guevara image that graces so many posters and T-shirts.
If you’ve ever been in a college sophomore’s dorm room, chances are you’ve seen what may be the most-reproduced photograph of all time – that iconic picture of Che Guevara. It’s been on everything from t-shirts to beer to thong underwear. It’s also the subject of the new documentary Chevolution which examines the history of the famous image. Trisha Ziff is a curator of contemporary photography, a Guggenheim scholar, and the film’s co-director. Trisha Ziff speaks with Faith Salie on Fair Game.
