Faith talks to University of Chicago paleontologist Neil Shubin about his new book Inner Fish, which details the many biological traits that humans and fish have in common.
We love going to the zoo to see the monkeys ? at least the ones that sort of look like us, not those tiny little spider monkeys. And they probably fascinate us because their faces look so much like ours. Now at an aquarium, looking at the fish – we don’t really feel the same connection. But Neil Shubin has discovered that we humans DO have quite a lot in common with fish. He’s a paleontologist at the University of Chicago, and he has a new book out called Your Inner Fish. Neil Shubin speaks with Faith Salie on Fair Game.
