The worsening situation in Syria has made it extremely difficult for reporters, who are banned from entering the country. One Syrian journalist, Ayman Abdul Noor, who runs the online magazine, “All for Syria,” describes his efforts to report the truth. He talks about the ways in which he can authenticate footage getting out of Syria via mobile phones, explaining that each Syrian city has a different dialect and that he can use this knowledge to determine whether a video’s speakers are actually where they say they are.
