At the approach of hurricane season, a long list of housing woes in the post-Katrina South
Nearly three years after hurricanes Katrina and Rita ravaged the Gulf Coast, many of the regions citizens remained displaced, impoverished and still living
in temporary housing. The Federal Emergency Management Agency set a deadline to evacuate all Katrina victims still living in government emergency trailers by June 1, 2008, the official start of the hurricane season. Joining us is
June Cross, an associate professor at the Columbia School for Journalism, and producer for an upcoming Frontline documentary about post-Katrina New Orleans.
