Aidan Quinn’s leading man looks and salt-of-the-earth charm landed him roles as “the honest brother” or the “good boyfriend” in films like: Legends of the Fall and Practical Magic. But in his new film he stars opposite Meryl Streep as a manipulative academic. The film is Dark Matter and it’s loosely based on the true story of a Chinese PhD student studying in America, who, when passed over for an academic award, goes on a murderous rampage.
