The Sycamore Gap tree once sat symmetrically between two hills along Hadrian’s Wall. But more than 1 1/2  years ago it was chopped down, causing disbelief for locals and admirers that considered it a sacred site. Now, two individuals in the UK are being tried for chopping the tree down.
