Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred knocked out power for more than 300,000 residents, injured 13 soldiers and killed a 61-year-old man. But aside from the devastating impacts on people along the east coast of Australia, local wildlife have also been injured and displaced, including koalas, kangaroos and an albatross. Many species were already under threat because of climate change.
