This week, South Sudan’s national men’s basketball team made their Olympic debut. Despite having zero indoor courts, the team managed to qualify for the Olympics after forming only a few years ago. Amid years of ethnic strife and civil war, basketball is proving to be a unifying force for all South Sudanese.
