The lead singer of the Barcelona-based flamenco/hip-hop band, Ojos de Brujo, has gone solo. Marina Abad just goes by “Marinah” now. She’s just released a solo album that embraces her new independence, not just as an artist, but as a woman. The title track is called “Superheroína.”
