After a turbulent run-up, Thursday was election day in Uganda. Millions of people went to the polls to vote for president. There have been concerns about violence. Also, the internet has been down across Uganda since Wednesday. Yoweri Museveni is the incumbent in this race. He’s been in office for more than 30 years.
