Sonny Lê is a media consultant and college instructor in Oakland, California. He came to the US as a refugee from Vietnam in 1981. Sonny served as the U.S. Census Bureau’s regional spokesperson and was in charge of the 2000 and the 2010 decennial census multilingual communications campaigns in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Northern California.
